Camp Wrap Up
In the Zone 2006 wrapped up today with the Championship game and awards. Sam Bell's team captured team honors in the final.
The older girls all received hand-dyed Tie-Dye T-shirts from the coaches of the older girls, Sam Bell, Cara Lynch, Karen Sen, and Paula Sen.
MHS alumni and returning players got to scrimmage with some of the refereees (Stoneham boys players) in what was described as spirited action.
In addition to the skill development attained at camp, the important lessons relayed involve

- Attitude is everything. The most important awards go to the players who get the most from their effort, not only the most from their ability.
- Team play overshadows individual achievement.
- The best teams learn to trust each other.
- "Nothing is impossible when nobody cares who gets the credit."
