Reading Friday

Melrose travels to Reading for the first of a pair of contests against the favored Rockets.

Melrose's defeat Tuesday to Winnacunnet meant losing to the number one ranked team in New Hampshire. One local expert with whom I exchanged email said that he would rank Winnacunnet number one if they played in Massachusetts.

The Lady Raiders play the late game tomorrow at Reading (@7:00 P.M.)

Lady Raider Notes: Each season stands on its own merit, with the goals and accomplishments of each team similarly their own. Victory is always achieved on the court, not in the abstraction of history or via rankings in electronic or print media. Fans can help by supporting the team if you can make it to Reading High School.
