The Lady Raiders shot down the AC Cougars at Emmanuel College, despite massive foul trouble in the first half, as Hannah Brickley, Laura Irwin, and Siena Mamayek all had three fouls early.
Full details to follow. What is noteworthy beyond an extended 'sun delay' was the incredible contribution of Amanda Peters with a pair of threes early in the third, and eight points off the bench. Colleen Hanscom, Hannah, and Siena all scored in double figures. Laura Irwin had 13 huge rebounds.
Melrose wins the Division 2 North for the fourth time since 2000, adding to titles in 2003 and 2006.
